| At Mount Pleasant, we have pledged to deliver programs to increase the critical success of our children. Our mission is to provide educational programs and services that foster improved academic success and wellness. To do this, we must have funding that will support our efforts. While seeking funding that will provide long-term support, we will appreciate contributions at all levels to ensure success. Also, listed below are some of the ways you can show support for Mt. Pleasant Middle School. •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• The Black Diamond Awards is an annual fundraiser that is held during the month of February. In addition to raising funds to offset operational costs for our school, the purpose of the Black Diamond Award is to recognize African Americans who have worked to make life better for citizens throughout Hillsborough County and its cities. Our goal is that the Black Diamond Awards will serve to motivate, unite, and encourage more African Americans to get involved in improving life for African Americans in Hillsborough County. The Black Diamond Award Recipients are not required to be associated with the school or the church. •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• Office Depot – Every customer who shops at Office Depot can donate 5% of the sale to Mt. Pleasant Middle School. In order to participate, make a qualifying purchase at Office Depot and present Mt. Pleasant’s 5% Back to Schools program ID: 70124893. Office Depot will offer the school credits equal to 5% of the qualifying purchases to be used towards free school supplies throughout the school year. •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• Box Tops for Education – Send your Box Tops in an envelope or baggie with your child's name and homeroom. Prizes will be awarded each month for the homeroom with the most submissions. Pleasant Middle School continues to educate middle school students in Hillsborough County. We ask you to participate in our fundraising activities.
